What the Fourth Estate doesn’t know about the Supreme Court ruling that allowed the president’s pardons to go forward

A federal appeals court has ordered President Donald Trump to turn over his personal financial records.

The Fourth Estate has filed a lawsuit in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit that seeks the records.

“Mr. Trump is a master at creating false or misleading public statements to the public,” the Fourth said in a statement.

“The public is entitled to know what is in his pocket, what is hidden in his closets and what is not.”

The organization said in an emailed statement that it was “disappointed” with the ruling.
